USM Modular Furniture Haller was created with its origins in architecture. Over 40 years ago, engineer Paul Schärer and architect Fritz Haller collaborated in developing a system of furniture based on modular architectural structures combining elegance and technical perfection.
A chrome-plated brass ball joint is the central element of USM’s Haller. Chromed steel tubes connect to the ball to form a stable framework in which the powder-coated metal panels (available in 11 colors) and internal organizational elements are mounted. Each unit is customized from the standard components to satisfy the individual user’s requirements. Metal elements guarantee a long service life, while acoustic metal elements - optimize spatial acoustics. Glass doors transform shelving into a showcase. Leveling feet give the USM Haller its floating character while ensuring that it stands firmly, with castors for mobility as an option.
